A Home Base for People Affected By ME/CFS

Welcome to our new website!  We hope you will enjoy exploring all the resources and information presented in a fresh new format.  Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have difficulty navigating, find errors in links, or have suggestions for further improvement.

And please help us to meet our Spring Fundraising goal of $20,000 by supporting our team and volunteers during the Boston Waterfront 5K Walk, Run, and Roll.

Help raise awareness about ME and support MassME’s vital programs

You can support Team MassME in lots of ways!

  • Donate to Team MassME or to a Team member
  • Ask friends and family to support our Team or a specific Team member
  • Recruit family or friends to run, walk or roll on your behalf
  • Join our Team! The scenic course is easy and accessible to mobility aids

The 2025 Boston Waterfront 5K is hosted by the McCourt Foundation. Several thousand people participate each year to help cure neurological diseases and create a healthier world.

All donations made to Team MassME go directly to support MassME’s programs and services. Donations are critical for MassME to offer support groups, counseling, events, resources, education and advocacy.

Disabilities

ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Long COVID, and other IACCIs are “invisible”
life-altering disabilities.

Learn how to manage them.

Sunday Conversations

“Sunday Conversations with MassME” is a speaker series with discussions on a wide variety of topics. These sessions are appropriate for patients, family members/caregivers, and health care professionals. Sunday Conversations take place via Zoom on the 3rd Sunday of most months, and are free and open to anyone.

Recommend a Provider

Have you had a positive experience with a healthcare, legal, or social services provider?  We would like to add them to our services database, which now contains over 300 providers.

Effects of Long COVID

Did you know that the clinical profiles of Long COVID and ME/CFS are nearly identical? And that much of the research and guidance for Long COVID management is based on decades of ME/CFS research and clinical practice?

Why Massachusetts?

We began in Massachuseets in 1985 and have remained focussed on the people, instututions and services in Massachusetts. But nearly 40% of our constituents live in other states and countries.  We’ve been at this for a long time and accumulated much wisdom which we share freely, regardless of where you may live.  Learn about Membership
